SUPERIOR GROWN LOGO AND PRODUCT STICKER
The Superior Grown logo and product sticker design were created in 2003 by Duluth artists Rick Allen and Marian Lansky through grant funding received from the MN Department of Agriculture.
The process for designing the logo was collaborative with ideas and input received by many farmers and supportive citizens within the region! The Superior Grown logo represents iconic farm and landscape images such as wheat, diversified vegetables, water, forest and a canoe for fun. The simplistic farmers represent low-cost, sustainable farm techniques often used throughout this region. These images combined make for a beautiful logo and are symbolic of our agricultural heritage and the Lake Superior region at its best!
Farmers, farmers markets and businesses are encouraged to use the logo and product sticker design to promote local agricultural products and to highlight business support for regional farmers. If you are interested in utilizing the logo or product sticker design, please contact Silver Creek Institute at 218.834.0846 or email info@silvercreekinstitute.org.
